This weekend was absolutely brilliant; not only was it my thirty-first birthday, it was also Poppy’s tenth birthday! I celebrated like most thirty-somethings with some retail therapy, a few drinks and a spot of lunch. My birthday shopping and dining had a retail value of around £130… However, me being me, I had a few tricks up my sleeve and got £90 worth of that for FREE!

Everything £5!
If you’ve never used everything5pounds then today is the day you should give it a go. New customers can get £5 off by following this link but don’t worry if you’re an existing customer you can still get further savings. If you use the code MSE5 you’ll get 5% off plus free delivery, that means your items wills £4.75 each delivered! The code expires on Monday though so be quick.
Everything on e5p is leftover stock from some well known high street stores. I’ve had plenty of items that have come from Miss Selfridge, H&M, Primark, New Look and more. All the items have the labels cut out so it’s not always possible to tell where they have come from and some items are unbranded. It is possible to find out which retailer it’s come by checking the washing instructions label as they can’t cut those out for obvious reasons. Last year I bought a wool coat and had no idea where it was from until I checked if I could wash it. I found that it was a Red Herring coat from Debenhams, after that I did a bit of research online and found that the coat was originally sold for £90 and then in the sale for £25 so I’d got an absolute bargain!
There can be some items that end up being poor quality or cheap material but you can return items for a refund. At £5 an item it’s definitely worth a gamble. I’ve ordered so many things over the years and have had loads of items that I love and only a few that I’ve been disappointed in. I find it’s great for workwear and handbags plus you can get some amazing one off items like dresses, coats and boots.
The way to get your hands on the best stock is to keep your eye on the everything 5 pounds Facebook page. Every day they add an album of the new arrivals that are going to be added to the website the next day. If there’s something you like it’s worth keeping your eye on the website the next day ready for the new arrivals going live. The best stuff goes really quickly so it’s worth being ready to order and checkout straight away.
My most recent ordered was for a pair of charcoal jeans. I’ve never ordered jeans from there as I often struggle with sizing, I used the MSE5 code so thought it would be worth a gamble for £4.75. I really hope they fit, if not I’m sure one of my friends will inherit them. I think you should definitely have a look at what e5p has to offer, you can treat yourself without breaking the bank.
Happy Shopping,
